Started in 2008 by geospatial specialist Brian Goldin and open source software engineer Ryan McKinley, the two partners identified the need for a geospatial search tool that didn’t currently exist and worked for months to build the model of what would eventually become Voyager Search. Soon after the model was done they secured their first client, a single desktop license, and not too long after they were closing deals with organizations around the world.
Now, as a multimillion-dollar company with clients and employees across the globe, Voyager provides a unique search solution to organizations within governments, utilities, natural resources, education, mapping, imagery and the transportation sectors . The company was named by CIOReview as the most innovative GIS company of the year in the April 2015 cover story, and CIOReview has also recognized Voyager as one of the Top 20 Most Promising GIS Solution Providers in both 2015 and 2016. Voyager is also extremely proud to be an Esri Federal Small Business Specialty Partner as well as an American Geographical Society Corporate Partner.
