Job Description

Voyager Search is currently seeking an Enterprise Sales Account Manager to hunt and farm strategic accounts across key markets. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial self starter who is interested in developing and implementing sales plans for their business, including identifying key customers and strategic partners in a way that maps Voyager solutions to solve customers' challenges to ensure success.

Our Account Managers are individual contributors to a team and are responsible for understanding our software, developing a connection with customers, knowing their customers’ solutions, and following up with them to close sales. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality coupled with a desire to work with a team to better the customer’s experience throughout the sales process. This will allow them to mingle and network through existing clients to promote and expand Voyager solutions throughout multiple territories. We’re looking for someone who is always prepared for any situation with creative thinking and an executable sales plan for meeting all company goals. In a Team Sales environment, you have people that count on you and that you can count on, all working together to meet overarching weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding for our products and to help foster a community within their target market
  • Identify important decision-makers and set out a contact strategy for building relationships to develop and maintain the relationship throughout the life of the company’s interactions
  • Work with product management and marketing teammates to better design products and product use cases to meet client requirements
  • Work with customer service and technical colleagues to see that the customer receives the highest standards of service from all parts of the organization
  • Create and execute on strategic and tactical sales plans
  • Accurately forecast and close sales commensurate with company goals

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 5 years MINIMUM of successful enterprise software sales experience
  • Experience with geospatial technologies, including Esri, is highly desired
  • Web services software and technology sales experience
  • Demonstrated track record of top performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in capturing requirements and writing winning proposals
  • Proven competitiveness
  • Experience working with C-level executives
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Geospatial or Search Engine technologies, with a passion for technology
  • Team player and energetic attitude
