Primary Responsibilities

Configure Voyager locations to connect to various content repositories

Initiate and monitor the indexing process for clients

Work with product management to define and document customer’s indexing needs.

Identify, define and document enhancements or bugs in the software

Identify and resolve indexing errors

Transport indexes from one Voyager instance to another

Follow Voyager Search internal processes to investigate problem areas and customer issues, and report them clearly and thoroughly

Work with customer stakeholders to understand API specifications and develop tailored ingestion workflows for metadata and content

Develop lightweight data connectors using Python or Java to integrate Voyager with internal customer APIs and content systems

Requirements
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
-
Must hold an active Top Secret with SCI clearance and have the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.

Bachelors in geography, information technology, engineering, or related field
-
Experience Needed: minimum 5 yrs
-
Knowledge of Javascript, XML, JSON or related languages
-
Experience programming in Python or Java to interact with RESTful APIs to develop data connectors that integrate with custom APIs within the customers environment

Ability to read and understand API documentation and develop custom integrations as needed

Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or related RDBMS

Ability to work with customers and defining solutions

Ability to read requirement documents, and scopes of work

Awareness of Apache Solr/Lucene
-
Knowledge of cartographic principles, image processing and GIS software, especially the ArcGIS desktop and server platform

Strong testing and problem solving skills
